At River Bend Dental, you’ll have a small, familiar team to greet you at every visit. We care about forming real relationships with our patients; our hygienists are particularly good about remembering the details of everyone who visits us, even to the point of knowing their birthdays. Bertha
Bertha, Dental Practice Administrator
Bertha has a wide range of dental experience spanning 15 years and has been with our dental office since 2020. She started her career in California as a dental assistant and got her certification through Bryman College. She later moved to Florida and learned the administration side of dentistry. In the last 10 years she has been working as an insurance coordinator & treatment coordinator. For her the job is all about helping our patients in whatever way she can to ensure they get everything they need when they visit us. On the weekends, you’ll most likely find Bertha watching Movies, listening to music, reading, or snuggling with her cat, Samantha. She also likes to travel, particularly to Disney parks, and she would go every day if she could!
Bailey, Registered Dental Hygienist
Bailey, who joined the team in 2021, says that the best part of her job is developing relationships with our patients and getting updated on their lives whenever they come in for a visit. She is from Nashville, TN and graduated with her bachelors from Western Kentucky University in 2016. In her free time, Bailey enjoys traveling, sporting events, and attending country music concerts. She also volunteers at her church and has gone on several mission trips.

Ivette
Ivette, Dental Assistant
From Garland, TX, Ivette has been working in the dental field for almost a decade. She’s performed dental administrative work for five years and studied at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston to become a Registered Dental Assistant. She’s also certified in coronal polishing, pit & fissure sealant, and nitrous oxide. Her favorite part of the job is building connections with our patients.
In her free time, Ivette enjoys hanging out with her 3 dogs—Josephine, Via, and Texas. Her favorite hobbies include listening to music, going to concerts, and working on her 1994 Ford Lightning. One interesting thing about her: she loves learning about and working on cars and trucks!
Rae, Dental Hygienist
Rae has more than 25 years of experience in the dental field, and she joined our team at the end of 2023. A Texas native, she chose to complete the Dental Hygiene Program at Texas Woman’s University, and she now has her bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene. Throughout her career, her favorite part of her job has been getting to know patients a bit better at each and every appointment!
Rae and her husband of more than 20 years have three children together, who range from age 5 to 17. When she isn’t busy with her kids’ extracurricular activities, she enjoys running, baking, jet-skiing, and traveling to East Texas (which is where their family property is). Here’s something you might not know about her: she has an Aussiedoodle named Bear!
